Swerve what will cheat you

did you enjoy the picaresque life?

chase escapades and heart jolting moments?

staving off what comes at more people than anything else:

boredom, stagnation.

and if you got to the end of your days and 

felt the stab 

of not having 

done so

then blame 

those who set 

up the world the way the world is

those who will never be held rapt by the red bird’s plumage as it twists and flights in the first morn’s light.
