An arcadia of imagination
The Streets of LA
the light is incandescent
the streets gone empty
the heat at 32
and in the vistas of the mind
are the oldtime movie stars
cowboy flicks
the LAPD of 1950
and:

after penning this - Cocktails;
it breaks your heart - like all things of
beauty
magic
like the sound of unadulterated laughter
like the boy facing the firing squad at noon
